ep 06. Opening the door to collaboration

“When architecture and interiors work together, we bring out the best in each other.”

  Lisa Schiffermuller (Associate Director)

Within the studio, we open collaboration to all experience levels, giving everyone the confidence to have their say and be a part of the process. The result is seamless, and becomes second nature.

At Ellivo, we believe that creating an aligned vision within the studio and project team is core to a successful design journey.  We start by overlaying a filter of ‘people’ alongside the client’s brief to develop the project vision. It’s our role as designers to ensure this design vision continues from the outset through to completion.

We truly enjoy working one-on-one with our clients, to really understand what matters to them. This helps us establish a design brief and vision together, to make sure we’re all on the same page from day one.

We’re the advocates of the design vision and it’s our responsibility to bring alignment of the project team. We believe the team as a whole, is that makes a project truly amazing. We all work together to ensure the original design intent is maintained, and this is what makes a project really successful.

Collectively our architects and interior designers bring out the best in each other. we work collaboratively to ensure a consistent outcome across both disciplines.

“From the outset, Ellivo is a family, and we place that filter of people on everything we do.”

Lisa Schiffermuller (Associate Director)

At Ellivo, we’re a family. Every person brings something unique and plays an important role in the day to day. We’ve created an environment within the studio, where everyone feels comfortable to contribute, collaborate and learn from one another.

The culture within the studio is nurtured and always front of mind. Believing that culture will survive if you don’t put anything into it will set you up for failure.

When we overlay the filter of what matters to people, our culture begins to underpin and support the thriving studio environment.
